英文Management Buyout的缩写,指公司管理层收购公司的多数股权. 在绝大多数此类收购中,管理层会买断所有其他股东的持股,然后将公司私有化(即从上市公司变成非上市公司). 管理层通常并不提供收购所需的全部资金,会透过借贷或与投资公司合作取得部分融资.
MBO
A purchase of part or all of a company's shares by the managers of that company in order to set it up as an independent concern. The managers act as principals and do not usually provide all the financing.
